“Kouziena 9505 is a local business that caters to all occasions both in and out of the Municipality of Tupi. Backed with over a decade of experience in the food industry, it’s guaranteed that their food and service will never disappoint.
They also have a homey restaurant that gives a chill ambiance and at the same time encourages the artist in every person to shine with its artsy interior, good music and scrumptious food. You might even find your stay at Kouziena 9505 is not only good for the tummy but soul as well.” –Kouziena 9505 FB Page
The Lucky Sketch crew went on a four hour trip to South Cotabato as we were invited to dine in with the owners of Kouziena 9505 for both Polomolok branch and the main branch which is in Tupi, South Cotabato.
Kouziena 9505 derived from the owner’s name and 9505 which is Tupis zip code, started venturing in food business 10 years ago as a catering services. It was just two years ago which they finally set up their own station as a restaurant which specializes in cakes, pasta and other desserts. Not later than the first opening, they branched out in Polomolok, a 30 minute ride from General Santos City.
The restaurant really has a homey feeling in it. It’s as if you were just sitting inside your own kitchen. You know what’s my favorite aside from the pastas? Their very own Knickerbocker. Tupi is much colder than Davao City so having cold desserts isn’t such a treat here, but their Knickerbocker deals with any kind of weather as it tastes really wonderful and worth blogging for. I even had the chance to sketch it to show how good this dessert is.
Kouziena 9505 also offers pasta buffet with 10 different pastas at Php180.00 on a specific schedule which they often update on their Facebook page.
The rustic inspired interior makes Kouziena unique. Close to being vintage with a touch of artistic millenial feels because of the graffiti and arts on the wall. Considered to be instagrammable and blog worthy. There’s something with black, gray and brown that makes the place sincerely apologetic to peace and calmness.
I’ve heard they also invite small prepped-up shows like the TINTasyon which they invite spoken poetry artists to stage up the dining area for customers to have good time; Trivia Night- a quiz show kinda event with I guess awaiting prizes to receive.
